Main Responsibilities

Market Risk Management

• Execute assigned duties in ensuring timely report generation through the trading system and various risk management activities, such as market risk management (commodity - both physicals and derivatives/foreign exchange) through reporting and analysis of respective risk exposures and profit and loss fluctuation on a daily basis.
• To compile prices from various sources and build daily price curves for uploading to the trading system.
• To perform month-end, quarter-end (inventory valuations), and year-end (annual back-test and stress-test) evaluations, in a timely manner.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager from time to time.

Credit Risk Management

• Calculate the current credit risk position exposed to customers using the designated system.
• Check the position against the approved position limit on a daily basis.
• Prepare position reports on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in an oil & gas trading company and experience in the risk management division (i.e. middle office) of an energy trading company is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant skills and a strong interest in commodity risk management may also be considered.
• Familiar with commodity trade management systems such as Entrade system will be an advantage.
• Risk Management Department (Senior Officer / Officer)
• Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, VBA programming, and Power BI.
• Able to work independently and as well as part of the team.
