Position Overview
Tenpay Global ( ) harnesses Tencent\'s Financial Technology (FiT) ecosystem, technology, risk management, compliance, and big data capabilities to assist global financial institutions and partners in connecting with users and businesses. With our business growth, we are looking for a Risk Manager who will oversee the risk management practice in the designated markets and provide risk advice on new and/or existing products / business activities in the areas of licensing, AML/CFT, fraud risk management, and other regulatory compliance requirements.

• Oversee the risk management practice in the designated market ensuring risk operation is compliant with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Provide risk advice to the business with the launch and assessment of new products / business activities.
• Work with Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer on the analysis and effective implementation of any new initiatives / programs related to the licensing, AMLCFT, fraud risk management, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
• Provide quality assurance review and expert assessment on customer due diligence, risk assessment, name screening, transaction monitoring, and other ad-hoc review etc. to identity the potential risk.
• Develop and ongoingly enhance the AMLCFT and risk management operation procedures.
• Conduct regular portfolio risk assessment and management reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in relevant disciplines; relevant AML certifications would be highly advantageous
• At least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience gained from payment institutions such as acquirers, digital wallets, and remittance service providers.
• Deep knowledge and hands on experience in analyzing financial services regulations, fraud detection methodologies, and emerging practices in financial crime and money laundering typologies.
• Experience in conducting customer due diligence, sanctions/PEP/negative publicity screening and transaction monitoring etc.
• Understanding of the payment industry and applicable regulations in MY, JP, EU, US is a plus.
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Chinese Mandarin with a heavy liaison with our China-based stakeholders and localisation of internal policies interfaced in Chinese language
• Proactive, self-motivated and strong execution skills.
