Be a part of the robotics revolution!:We are seeking an engineer with a background and a passion for robotics. You will be instrumental in the development of Smart+, our robot operating system. You will also pioneer our long-term strategy of assisting robotics companies with open-source modules, developed in conjunction with major ROS partners, for error diagnosis and resolution.You will get hands on experience with a wide range of robotic platforms while implementing and deploying Smart+.Responsibilities:Implement software solutions and design interfaces to support robot integrations with Kabam Software Suite.Support robot deployment at customer sites around Singapore.Support our remote team in testing of new features. Create bug reports and investigate issues.Assist robot field testing, evaluate the performance of our systems, and create performance reports.Contribute to overall architecture design and documentation.Technical qualifications:Background in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with a focus in robotics, mechatronics, or related fieldsProficient in ROS and C++ or PythonFamiliar with Linux platform, its configuration, and command line operationsGood knowledge of robotic platforms, robotics hardware (sensors, actuators), and networks (Ethernet, Ethercat, CAN, Modbus, RS232, etc)Track record collaborating on software projects (git)Helpful Additional Skills:Participation in hackathons or robotics competitionsTrack record of open source contributions and/or personal software/hardware projectsExposure to Docker, Jenkins, and other tools for deployment* Web development experience (HTML5, Javascript, React, three.js)Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Caffe) and computer vision tools (OpenCV)About Kabam:Headquartered in Singapore, KABAM Robotics leverages robotics and connectivity technologies to design and build service robots for the security, delivery and hospitality sectors.
