Our client is a leading MNC manufacturer of security robots.Technical qualifications:\xe2\x97\x8f Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with a solid background in ROS.
\xe2\x97\x8f Proficient with ROS: track record of building ROS software on real robots. Experience with ROS2
and Nav2 is a plus.
\xe2\x97\x8f Professional dev experience in one of the following areas: SLAM, motion planning, perception.
\xe2\x97\x8f Solid understanding of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, perception, and
control is a must.
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience with outdoor navigation systems and field testing protocols is a plus.
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
\xe2\x97\x8f Familiar with the Linux platform, its configuration, and command-line operations
\xe2\x97\x8f Track record collaborating on software projects (Git)
\xe2\x97\x8f Passion for robotics and a drive to push the boundaries of what\'s possible.Duties and responsibilities\xe2\x97\x8f Architect and implement scalable control and navigation solutions for AMRs utilizing your
expertise in ROS, C++, and Python. Your focus will be on robustness, efficiency, and adaptability
in real-world environments.
\xe2\x97\x8f Evaluate and integrate third-party systems (HW/SW) to enhance KABAM robots\' capabilities.
\xe2\x97\x8f Conduct rigorous field tests to validate the reliability and performance of navigation systems in
diverse outdoor conditions. Leverage insights gained to iteratively improve and optimize
navigation algorithms, incorporating SLAM, motion planning, and perception techniques.
\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain comprehensive documentation of design, development, and deployment processes.
Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team by presenting insights and lessons learned
in regular sessions.
\xe2\x97\x8f Provide expert support for remote robot deployments at customer sites worldwide. Your
troubleshooting skills and hands-on assistance will ensure seamless integration and operation of
our solutions.
\xe2\x97\x8f Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics technology. Engage in continuous R&D efforts
to explore new methodologies and technologies that can elevate the capabilities and performance of our AMRs. Implement findings to enhance existing systems and processes, keeping KABAM at
the forefront of technological innovation.Qualifications, Skills, Experience\xe2\x97\x8f Education - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical
Engineering with a focus in robotics, mechatronics, or related fields
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience - Bachelors (with at least 3 years relevant experience) or Masters (with at least 1
years relevant work experience)
\xe2\x97\x8f Industry - Previous experience in a robotics company preferred
\xe2\x97\x8f Supervisory - Personnel management is nice to have. Project management/technical lead
experience is preferred
\xe2\x97\x8f Language - English (required), Mandarin (desirable)
