Play a key role in the design and execution of the next evolution of KABAM\xe2\x80\x99s Co-Lab and Halo autonomous mobile robots, leveraging expertise in ROS, robot navigation, robot perception, and proficient programming in C++/Python. Prioritize innovation while ensuring the highest standards of reliability and robustness throughout the development process.
Work closely with various teams, including mechatronics, electrical, and software engineers, to seamlessly incorporate new robot platforms or enhance existing ones within KABAM\'s Smart+ app, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Integrate embedded systems into robotic platforms by utilizing protocols like serial, CAN bus or Modbus for seamless communication between embedded ATmega microcontrollers, sensors/actuators and the main robotic system.
Provide expert support for remote robot deployments at customer sites worldwide.
Maintain documentation of the design, development, and deployment processes for future reference and knowledge sharing within the team. Capture insights gained from projects in docs and present them in regular team sessions.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience
Education \xe2\x80\x93 Bachelors in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
with a focus in robotics, mechatronics, or related fields
Experience \xe2\x80\x93 Bachelors (Preferred 1 or more years of experience/ fresh grads are welcome)
Industry \xe2\x80\x93 Previous Experience/Internship in a robotics company required.Language \xe2\x80\x93 English (required)
