He/she will take charge of the design and conceptualization of gripper and end-effector m This position is responsible for optimizing the manufacturing processes by creating innovative robotic manipulation technologies and actuation applications. He/she will take charge of the design and conceptualization of gripper and end-effector mechanisms, pick-and-place intelligence, motion planning as well as robotic manipulator programming and execution. Center to lead paradigm shift in mobility value chain, spanning the entire lifecycle of vehicles. The group will build a customer-centered smart mobility environment where products are tailored to customer needs and mobility services would enrich its customers' lives. : Participate in a team to research and develop robotic manipulator motion control and innovative applications for industrial automation. Robot arm programming: Yaskawa, ABB, KUKA, etc. Selection and integration of sensors, actuators, and vision systems. Study and implementation of pick-and-place strategies and algorithms. Development of end-effector and gripper mechanisms. Robotic manipulator simulation for new applications and deployments. Project management and coordination with industry partners. Documentation of technical reports, program codes, and set-up manuals. Job Requirements: Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Computer Engineering or relevant disciplines At least 5 years of relevant industry experience. Proficiency in programming industrial robots using manufacturer's specific language or C/C++, Python, PLC etc. Familiarity with ROS, Linux OS, and other similar libraries or software tools Proven competence in creating his/her own pick-and-place algorithms and applying them to real products.
