Job Description


Work Schedule

  • The associate will be on a 5-day work week and is entitled to two rest day per week
  • The associate is required to work based upon the operational needs as deemed essential and necessary by the Employer and business demands
  • Cleaning of room and bathroom according to the set standards and instructions established Checking of linen quality and control linen damage
  • Ensure proper usage of chemicals, cleaning equipment and materials
  • Make up bed and turn down according to standards set
  • Shoe shining upon request
  • Maintain cleanliness of the corridors and hallways
  • To keep pantry on respective floor clean and tidy
  • Ensure all equipment, supplies and linen in pantry are well maintained and stocked according to par level
  • Maintain a high level of guest service and ensure rapid and professional response to all guest requests
  • Report any maintenance deficiencies in the guestrooms
  • Updating of room status and report any discrepancies
  • Turn in any lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office according to established procedures
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties assigned (e.g. fire warden)
Job Requirements
  • Able to speak and understand basic English
  • Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
  • Pleasant disposition
  • Candidates with no prior experience are welcome
