A leading proprietary trading firm is looking for an experienced candidate proficient in C++/Rust and Python to join their team in a Rust/C++ Developer job.
About the for a Rust/C++ Developer Role:
The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge, in-house technology and work in a dynamic, diverse, and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications and components for various parts of the trading systems.
- Write performant and robust code using C++ or Rust, or both
- Utilise Python for various scripting and integration tasks
- Continuously enhance the systems to adapt to evolving trading needs
- Ensure the smooth operation and reliability of the trading systems
- Lead and manage projects from start to finish
- Provide mentoring, support, and technical guidance
Key Requirements:
- Experienced software developer with a background in tackling challenging problems, particularly related to low latency or high throughput
- Proficiency in C++ or Rust, or both, and Python
- Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of their work
- Demonstrates a solid commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Capable of driving requirements gathering and coordination with stakeholders
- Ability to lead and manage projects from start to finish
- Experience in mentoring, support, and technical guidance
