The Regional Vice President (RVP) will be responsible for the Salesforce MuleSoft business for Asia (ASEAN, India, Greater China). This senior leadership position will be accountable for the continued recruitment, management, growth and success of Salesforce Partners supporting our customers within the market. This is a senior role which offers a significant opportunity for the right leader to drive the strategy and success of this meaningful business unit. The successful leader will have a proven record in effectively leading strategic partner sales teams with the ability to embody the Salesforce #Ohana culture, dedication to Salesforce values, while delivering significant growth across the region. Key outcomes for the new leader:

Develop and complete the Partner MuleSoft strategy for Asia

Deliver on monthly growth targets for the APAC MuleSoft Partner business across region.

Lead, align and drive demand generation functions to deliver to the monthly cadence of the business

Be talent obsessed leading talent programs of hiring, developing, mentor, and retaining talent and our next generation of Salesforce leaders

Represent the Alliances and Channels team in the MuleSoft Asia Leadership team.

Core Responsibilities

Lead the business to grow successfully beyond its current targets, increasing the revenue of the business. The leader will operate in a high-growth environment; this will be achieved by:

Defining a clear and compelling vision and setting priorities

Translating business objectives into specific goals

Driving a culture of strong execution supported by developing the MuleSoft partner ecosystem across Asia

Leverage the Asia A&C team to support the MuleSoft Asia Sales teams' success by developing a strategic partner plan across the geography and execution of that plan.

Provide strategic direction and focus to the sales teams whilst identifying new opportunities in industry vertical/geographies and driving expansion into them

Engaging cross functionally throughout the business (Sales Engineering, Co-Primes, Marketing, Sales Strategy, Finance, Employee Success, Recruiting) to build trust and alignment

Continue growing and developing a team of high performers, as well as ensure there are sufficient resources in place to support business growth objectives

Establishing executive connects within accounts and partner and industry group to support the success of the business.

Develop the current front line leadership team for greater levels of responsibility as we grow.

Experience / Required Skills

Validated Leader with minimum of 10 years leadership experience, 2+ years second line, ideally in a cloud software company with ability to set the vision and strategy for the business unit

A leader with a consistent record in the software market, building and leading large, sophisticated, matrixed sales organisations recognised for both their culture and results (overachieving quota)

Strong focus and ability to handle monthly results - driving and running a sales business with a strong cadence of deal closure on a monthly and quarterly basis; track record of consistent over-achievement of quota and revenue goals

Strong understanding of customer success and ability to support the growth of the partner eco system

Excellent operational/analytical skills - reporting, forecasting, data analysis skills; operations management experience

Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent experience

Excellent communication, interpersonal and people leadership skills.
