Job Description
of Safety Coordinator
- Assist Project Manager to ensure sub-contractors and workers comply with site safety and MOM safety and safe management measures requirements
- Conduct tools box meeting
- Conduct Site Safety Induction Course
- Attend safety meeting & conduct safety training
- Conduct site check to ensure site safety and safe management measures
- Conduct in-house Safe Work Procedures training to workers
- Rectify hazards & unsafe workplace practices at site
- Prepare Risk Assessment before any new task
- Conduct Risk Assessment Training for all workers
- Arrange for equipment inspection with main contractor
- Advice workers on safety compliance & procedures during work execution
- Investigate & prepare report on all workplace accidents
- Involve in safety audit
- Manage all Company's Certifications (ISO, BizSafe, etc.)
Job Requirements
- NITEC / HI-NITEC Certificate in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
- At least 2 years of working experience as a HSE Coordinator
- Updated with current legal requirement and standard practices
- Able to display ability and skills as a HSE Coordinator
- Must possess the following certifications:
- Patient & tactful in dealing with various nationality of workers
- Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and urgency
- Able to work independently and cope with pressure
