Assist Project Manager to ensure sub-contractors and workers comply with site safety and MOM safety and safe management measures requirements
Conduct tools box meeting
Conduct Site Safety Induction Course
Attend safety meeting & conduct safety training
Conduct site check to ensure site safety and safe management measures
Conduct in-house Safe Work Procedures training to workers
Rectify hazards & unsafe workplace practices at site
Prepare Risk Assessment before any new task
Conduct Risk Assessment Training for all workers
Arrange for equipment inspection with main contractor
Advice workers on safety compliance & procedures during work execution
Investigate & prepare report on all workplace accidents
Involve in safety audit
Manage all Company's Certifications (ISO, BizSafe, etc.)
Job Requirements
NITEC / HI-NITEC Certificate in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
At least 2 years of working experience as a HSE Coordinator
Updated with current legal requirement and standard practices
Able to display ability and skills as a HSE Coordinator
o Legal documents (PTWs, SWP and MOS)
o Completion of accident and incident report
o Able to complete risk assessment and application of hierarchy of control
o Able to tabulate inspection report(s)
Must possess the following certifications:
o Work at Height for Assessor/Manager
o Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan
o Building Construction Supervisors Course
o Safe Management Officer
Patient & tactful in dealing with various nationality of workers
Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and urgency
Able to work independently and cope with pressure
