Job Description

: Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with MOM and site safety requirements and that all workers comply with safety regulations. Be involved in regular Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) meetings, including toolbox meetings; update and review changes to standards and processes where required. Administer and compile all environmental, safety & health records according to the company's accreditation such as ISO & bizSAFE requirements, file accordingly based on Safety Management System in place and prepare for safety audits. Manage safety violations and refresher training To ensure all HSE-related safety equipment and PPE are in order and properly maintained. To investigate accidents if any, identify causes, and take necessary actions to prevent similar accidents in the future. Compiles all relevant reports and records and carries out a daily safety inspection Support the Company in identifying new, or changes to existing processes and systems to improve the overall effectiveness of EHS policies. Carry out risk analysis and EHS assessment and recommend appropriate measures to control the risks. Develop and monitor EHS Policies and training to ensure compliance with Statutory and EHS requirements Lead safety site walk with relevant safety personnel to inspect safety lapses, unsafe actions, and put-up reports for follow-up actions Any other duties as may be assigned.Job Requirements: At least 2-3 years of relevant experience preferably in the construction / M & E industry. Diploma in Safety or equivalent. Professional qualifications: Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health, Risk Management OR Certification for Specialist Workplace Safety and Health (BCA) and other related qualifications: Works-at-Heights Assessor and Confine Space Assessor will be an added advantage. Possess knowledge and expertise in industrial safety standards, occupational safety, and emergency management Good knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures. Must have the relevant safety certification that is needed for him/her to work as a safety coordinator Able to communicate well with subordinates, all level of management and clients Hardworking, willing to learn, and with a good working attitude. Required to work overtime according to the site project schedule.
