Safety Coordinator
Job Description
1. To assist and coordinate with Occupier and Site/Trade Manager on all WSH aspects.
2. Recommend to the occupier of the worksite to implement such reasonable, practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practices.
3. To develop, implement and update all aspects of written safety and health programs and plans.
4. To coordinate, delegate works and provide guidance to Safety Supervisors.
5. To conduct regular checks and “walk-through” inspections of worksite and its facilities.
6. To upkeep and maintain log for workplace and occupational accident/injuries and illnesses.
7. To enforce safety and stop any works or operations that violate any safety procedures.
8. To conduct briefing to site staffs and workers on the safety hazards associated with work activities prior to commencement of works.
9. To conduct, investigate and record any workplace accidents/injuries.
