Perma-Liner Industries (Singapore) Pte Ltd is a leading provider of trenchless pipeline rehabilitation solutions in Singapore & South East Asia Region. We specialize in providing innovative and sustainable solutions to the water and wastewater industry. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our team. Scope of Work: As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all company activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and standards. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and project teams to develop and implement health and safety plans, provide training and education, and conduct regular inspections and audits. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of company activities and worksites to identify and address potential hazards
- Provide training and education to employees on health and safety policies, procedures, and practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including OSHA and other applicable laws and regulations
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Maintain and update safety records and reports
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors, on safety-related matters
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in health and safety management in the civil construction / water or waste water industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including OSHA and other applicable laws and regulations
- Experience in developing and implementing health and safety plans, policies, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with employees, clients, and regulatory bodies
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
