Description: As a safety coordinator, he/she has to ensure all the workers at the worksite follow safety instructions. He/she is to set safety standards for the workplace based on the requirements of the projects to help them to observe the rules and regulations. Responsibilities: 1. Supervising and coordinating safety procedures as per the project requirements according to the Workplace Safety & Health Act. 2. Identify unsafe work practice or work conditions and recommend control measures to the management and instruct them to implement the safety measurements. 3. To implement reasonable practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice. 4. Monitor risk assessment compliance and report for any non-compliance. 5. To manage all safety-related programs on-site, brief all workers, and conduct periodic checking at work sites.. 6. Generate safety reports for management. 7. Keep all project safety documents orderly complete and categorized for easy accessibility to specific records and projects. 8. To manage safety documents for the project. 9. Review each document for conformity and accuracy. Requirements: 1. Minimum diploma 2. Minimum 10 years of experience in the related field. 3. Willing to learn new technologies based on project requirements 4. Willing to support beyond working hours if the project requires it. 5. Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisors or management.
