The Safety Executive/ Senior Safety Executive (Systems) will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the airline\xe2\x80\x99s safety management, accident prevention and flight safety programs to ensure compliance with AOCR and company standards Reporting to the Manager, Safety, your main accountabilities will include:
Assist Head of Safety, Security & QA and Manager, Safety in maintaining, collating and compilation, updating records of investigations and audit findings and all safety related matters.
Maintain the established safety reporting system which provides for a timely and free flow of safety-related information.
To provide timely information on flight safety matters to Manager, Safety for resolution.
Assist in ensuring all employees are familiar with the Safety Management System and ensure manual is updated timely.
Maintain the air safety occurrence reporting database.
Monitor corrective actions and flight safety trends.
Facilitate co-ordination meeting with CAAS and TSIB and ensure compliance with the Mandatory Occurrence Reporting requirement.
Process safety improvements suggestions as directed.
Ensure that investigations and audits are closed. Tracking of action items in investigations and audit findings.
Assist in developing and maintaining a safety awareness programme.
Double up as secretary to the Monthly Safety Committee and Change Management Committee, arranging its meetings and keeping records of such meetings.
Assist in disseminating flight safety-related information company-wide.
Facilitate in the investigation of accidents that includes the conduct and co-ordination of the investigation into incidents.
Facilitate the conduct of safety audits and inspections.
Assist in maintaining the Safety Management System.
Assist with all safety promotional efforts (e.g. publishing of safety newsletter)
Facilitate the conduct Cabin Crew Safety Audit.
Review and evaluating adequacy of the corporate emergency response plan.
To be considered for these roles you will ideally have:
At least a Diploma or equivalent qualifications related to aviation matters
Preferably with experience working in commercial aviation industry
Good computer literacy. It will be an advantage to be familiar with Microsoft Power BI
Good analytical skills
Reasonably clear expression in writing
Able to communicate at staff levels, both inside and outside the Company
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Well-organised and great attention to details
