Job Description


  • To ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of Safety Management System on site
  • Maintain and develop health and safety audit and inspection systems across all levels in the company
  • Attend day-to-day operation, meetings and co-ordinate for scheduling site activities and deployment
  • Administers HSSE filing system accordance to ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2004.
  • Conduct site walk inspections, stand-down and weekly standstill.
  • Respond to all HSE Facilities incidents and emergencies and submit report notification and deliver root cause analysis
  • Assist, coordinate and chair HSE Safety Committee meetings
  • Plan and carry periodic and involves HSE audit and able to recommend actions to prevent recurrence and implement course of actions
  • Plan training programs and safety campaigns to promote health and safety awareness and foster safe culture
  • To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on any hazards or dangerous occurrence at the workplace and report to Corporate Safety Manager
  • Formulate yearly HSE Action Focus and Plan for the site and monitor the effective implementation
  • Monitor HSE observations and trends and formulate action focus to alleviate the HSE trends
  • Preparation of required periodic reports and submissions by Clients
  • Upkeep and maintain documentations for required company’s certification such as GGBS and others
  • To improve and maintain a good safety culture at the worksite
  • Communicate and liaise with Clients with regards to any HSSE matters
  • Plan and conduct trainings for the worksite
  • Develop and maintain PTW system as required for the worksite
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least WSQ Specialists Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health with other relevant WSH certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Construction projects
  • Prior experience in oil and gas industry an advantage
  • Good computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills able to work with and through people from different backgrounds and cultures and different educational levels
Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment
