JOB TITLE: SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER, PU, ROA

JOB PURPOSE

This is a sales role to implement BU Strategy by exploring market opportunities, propose and execute business plan, and account for sales result in Asia for Polyurethane and other PO derivatives, under the guidance and supervision of Asia Product Leader. The role is also responsible to contribute smooth deliverables through coordination with internal and external counterparts to contribute to customer satisfaction, sales effectiveness and best practice initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work as focal for Polyurethane in ROA to translate BU vision & strategy into comprehensive business and sales plans for ROA region
  • Proactively identify, develop & nurture new customers or new segments to seek out opportunities for expanding sales activities in ROA with the aim to provide quality products and services through innovation, learning and operational excellence to sustain maximum value and best netback.
  • Propose & implement sales plans through diligent negotiations of term and spot business with customers to pursue the business strategy.
  • Account for smooth & efficient operational Order-to-Cash process utilizing monitoring and forecasting tools; monitor account performance by engaging and collaborating with customers and various internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor the promise-to-sell inventory level of local hubs, plan inbound replenishment and outbound deliveries of material to ensure cost effectiveness and smooth operation of hub.
  • Be responsible for clean signature of all sales documents by bridging the gap between SABIC and customers through communications with internal functions;
  • Conduct market intelligence and study according to the needs of the Business, evaluate the findings and form the recommendations to Asia/Global business leaders;
  • Provide various sales reports and analysis as periodic business reviews and accomplish any other assignments from management
  • Support new product mapping in Asia especially the sales channel expansions of Polyurethane.
  • Ensure all SABIC's Environment, Health, Security and Safety (EHSS) policies are complied with both internally and externally in sales activities
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor degree or above in Chemical, Engineering or Business
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical industry, preferably in sales or marketing;
  • Good knowledge about Chemicals value chain, liquid Supply Chain knowledge and good connection with the industry.
