JOB SUMMARYThe Sales Account Manager is the key point of contact between the hotel property and its clients: answering queries, offering advice and introducing the property and services. Duties includes: organizing sales visits. Demonstrating /presenting the hotel.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively manage a given number of key accounts/ key prospects account.
• Conducts eight (8) sales calls daily to maintain a strong relationship to clients.
• Proactively prospecting new accounts and follow the sales process through to convert into 'producing' accounts.
• Plan and conducts familiarization tours and site inspections in line with business needs
• Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
• Interfaces with operations on a timely basis
• Take personal responsibility to ensure that all accounts are properly updated in Property Management System (PMS) and that the system is utilized to its full capacity
• Maintain up-to-date activity and production information for each account
• Analyze sales mix and likely impact on hotel goals
• Checking customer satisfaction and resolving any issues to ensure repeat business
• Gather market, customer information and provide feedback on hotel trends
• Represent your organization at trade exhibitions and events
• Provides hotel proposals and quotations
• Implement directions from Area Operations Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education - Bachelor's Degree in Communications / Business Administration / Marketing or Hospitality Management.
• Work Experience - Must have minimum two (2) years hotel sales experience or related guest service professional area.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - with good communication skills, self-motivated, driven, confident and determined.
