Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Sales Account Manager located on Jurong Island, Singapore through 12 January 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (Singapore Standard Time).

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Manages sales for own portfolio, including execution of short & long-term strategies. Develops and communicates strategies, plans and performance progress to engage the organization with focus on execution.

Responsible for delivering sustainable results aligned to strategic objectives for volume, margin, customer profitability, selling prices and expenses.

Responsible for Operational Excellence for the team. Ensures compliance within country laws and Chevron policies.

Responsible for execution of the sales process.

Builds strategic relationships with customers at different levels & functions.

Monitors customer profitability performance and directs account plans. Identify customer drivers.

Communicates regularly with customers and participates in industry associations. Ensures delivery of customer offer consistently. Leverages elements of offer to meet customer requirements and maximize Chevron returns.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Marketing or related field.

Minimum 5 years of related work experience in sales, marketing, or technical service in the petrochemical/lubricant industry or related industries dealing with Original Equipment Manufacturers

Demonstrates strong negotiation and leadership skills

Demonstrates effective communication skills during presentations to customers and sales management.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

Good understanding of Asian/International Business cultures

Regular travel within the region is to be expected

Preferred Qualification:

Proficient in English. Knowledge of other language is preferred to liaise with customers in the region.

Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations:

Selected candidate will work in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.
