Identify disruptors & Track competitors
Uncover emerging tech product categories through research
Identify hyper-growth companies and their decision-makers.
Lead generation, data hygiene, and management via HubSpot or Salesforce
Staying up to date with new services/products and plans
Real-time response, engagement, and qualifying of inbound leads and inquiries
Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
Collaborates with the whole sales team to plan and manage the research projects and activities.
Prepare research reports on industries, companies, products, and trends using a combination of primary and secondary research techniques daily and weekly.
Consults and works with marketing, client services, consulting, and sales to craft and create research plans in their respective business units and industry verticals.
Create compelling research presentations that tell a story in a manner that sales and marketing can use with their clients and by the leadership team to develop company strategy
Builds and Maintains a knowledge base within their respective area of research and is able to place research findings in the appropriate business context based on that knowledge
Design specialized research strategies, both qualitative and quantitative that meet project objectives and advise on the best sources for completing current and future projects
Stay current on industry and market news relating to key areas, industries correlate potential, and competitors.
Qualifications for the Role:
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills across various channels (email, social media, phone).
Has the capability to understand customer pain points, and requirements and correlate potential business to the value provided by S&M.
Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
Strong quantitative and qualitative research experience.
Strong analytical skills to manage, manipulate and analyze raw data to provide business insights, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
Experience in primary and secondary research tactics
