Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the international bunker sector, including ports, suppliers, shipowners, charterers, and industry regulations.
Understand oil market fundamentals, marine fuel pricing models, and the wider maritime shipping landscape.
Prepare and deliver effective marketing materials to clearly present the company's services and value proposition to potential and existing customers.
Take ownership of client accounts and manage the full sales cycle, including preparation of quotations, negotiation, confirmation of deals, coordination of deliveries, and provision of after-sales support.
Monitor client credit line utilization and payment performance, assisting in collection efforts when required.
Handle dispute management and claims resolution promptly to maintain strong customer relationships.
Support the training, guidance, and professional development of junior colleagues and trainees.
Ensure compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and operational standards at all times.
Requirements:
Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Sales or Marketing role.
Previous exposure to the oil and gas industry will be an added benefit.
Strong communication and persuasive abilities, with proven skills in presenting ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive client relationships.
