Job Description

Position: Sales & Technical Engineer

1.RESPONSIBILITY:
- Develop New Sales & Maintain existing customers (SI & PEU)
- Conduct product demonstration proficiently to customers (Sales and/or Technical)
- Technical Support: Providing Pre & after sales technical support to customer
- Management and Monitoring of Inventory stock movement and status
- Gather market intelligence on customer activities, projects and sales forecasts
- Follow up with deliveries and backlog orders efficiently

2.SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Candidate in this position are required to have responsibility and ability solve technical issues with both Factory and/or customers amicably.
- Candidate must have the capability to identify and proposed a suitable solutions/products in relations to customer needs and requirements.

3.ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Attend to new sales enquiry, build relationships with current and new customer base.
- Technical representation to Security Professionals, Security Consultants, Systems Integrators and PEU's
- Testing and troubleshooting of faulty products both indoors and on sites (if required)
- Promoting ASSA ABLOY brands to the end user, selling to the system integrators and/or distributors.
- 40% focus on account management and new sales / 60% focus on technical & sales support
- Management and accountability of inventory & Non-inventory stocks both in-house and 3rd party warehouse
- Management of Warranty Claims/ Key Codes for customers with proprietary systems
- Maintenance of AAS office Access Control systems
- Provide technical support and product training to Professional end-users, system integrators and distributors
- Liaise with ASSA ABLOY personnel to maximise customer service levels.
- Preparation of Sales Promotional and/or marketing catalogues/materials for Sales purposes
- Follow up with Factories and/or customers for Replacements products/parts
- Attend Sales Meetings, Product Promotions/Seminars, Training Sessions and other industry related functions when required.
- Ensure clients are kept up to date with appropriate Catalogues, Samples and Point of Sale material.
- Ensure
5% failure rates for all new batch of goods

QUALITY:
- To respond and perform all assigned Corrective Actions.
- Customer liaison.
- Maintain ISO 9000 compliance.
- Support continuous improvement philosophies.
