Job Description

On behalf of one of its client, The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore is recruiting a Sales Assistant Health - Asia-Pacific.

Our client is a French global leader company in the supply of botanical raw material and health ingredients to the Food and Health Nutrition industries. In its objective of growth in the APAC area, they are looking for a Sales Assistant intern that will work with the existing Sales Manager Health to prospect, contact and engage new potential clients.



Responsibilities

• Main duty : Sales Support (estimated 90% of the worktime).

The Sales Assistant task will primarily be to achieve commercial business prospecting of existing and new potential clients. This involves to first identify a list of companies and their respective \xe2\x80\x9cBusiness development\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cMarketing\xe2\x80\x9d teams contacts that are suitable to engage regarding the promotion of our client products (this through websites, LinkedIn research etc).

Once identified, those companies will be contacted for products introduction, either through phone calling, emailing or LinkedIn messages. This will lead to promote our client products and raise new projects opportunities.

In addition the Sales Assistant task will be to understand the clients needs such as what are the new marketing and health trends they are looking to develop.

• Side duty : Reglementary review (estimated 10% of the worktime).

As our client is selling botanical ingredients throughout the APAC market, each country has a respective FDA\xe2\x80\x99s guidelines which our client needs to follow. Based on this, to understand which products can be sold in which country, a reglementary review must be achieved.

Additionally to the commercial duty, the Sales Assistant task will include the collection of FDAs guidelines information\xe2\x80\x99s and globalize the data in an excel sheet.

This side duty will be put in collaboration with the team in France to assist the existing creation of a reglementary review on the company products regarding APAC area FDA\xe2\x80\x99s.

Requirements

6 months internship

Bachelor or Master level degree

Autonomous and motivated, strong proactivity

Sense of contact with good communication skills both by email and orally

No fear to engage clients and ask questions

Genuine interest in sales

Interest overall in the food supplement, health and nutrition industries

Curiosity in self learning on scientific data

The company will provide both products training and a working computer.
