Job Description


The Manager, Sales Performance Management - Asia Pacific (APAC), is responsible for the successful and compliant day-to-day execution and operation of Hilton\xe2\x80\x99s Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) and supporting other SPM programs and initiatives in a team environment. This position will lead and execute goal setting and pay-out processes and use reports and analytics to provide recommendations to sales leadership on how to optimize the program and foster an environment of continual improvement.

Integral to the success of this role will be the ability to collaborate on a dynamic set of evolving programs and initiatives aimed at maximizing sales performance whilst constantly reinforcing the outstanding level of customer service provided to sales professionals and program partners, a combination of analytical insight, strong business acumen and an ability to partner and influence sales leaders and leaders in cross functional corporate roles.

What will I be doing?

As the Manager, Sales Performance Management - APAC, you will be responsible for effective execution of SIP and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work independently to problem solve and drive compliance. Your role responsibilities will include performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Work closely with sales leadership in goal setting process to define optimal performance measurements and goals to ensure relevance with business and sales organization objectives.
  • Lead and execute SIP pay-out processes ensuring accurate and timely pay-outs.
  • Design and provide internal sales intelligence to support and measure the effectiveness of the incentive program.
  • Recommend and implement sales incentive frameworks to motivate sales and drive the right behaviors, support strategic plan, strengthen seller retention, maximize seller motivation and minimize distraction.
  • Lead, support and manage change management processes to build organizational understanding and buy-in for SPM programs and plans.
  • Create and establish SIP documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Support onboarding of hotels and sales teams\xe2\x80\x99 SIP inquiries.
  • Create and deliver effective training programs to foster the understanding of SIP programs and SIP Tool.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, testing, set-up, and training for Incentive Compensation Management system (SIP Tool), as it pertains to goal setting and pay-outs, and ensure system compliance.
  • Foster an organization of continual process improvement with a focus on enhancing, automating and optimizing the current program.
  • Pro-actively analyze information to help navigate the business.
  • Drive consensus decisions into scalable operating procedures.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, PivotTable), Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Participation in global conference call (evening or early morning).
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Minimum 2 years operating in a matrix and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in hospitality (hotel operations / sales) or Sales Performance Management.
