Summary:

  • The Mobility Sales and Business Development Manager is a Sales expert with a strong commercial and technical knowledge of Mobility Services.
  • She/He is responsible, within the Mobility sales team for promoting and selling PCCW Global\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio of Mobile Data and VAS Services to MNOs, MVNOs, IoT Platform providers and IoT aggregators globally.
  • The role involves the specialist application of Mobile data and VAS services sales expertise on IPX services GRX, LTE Diameter Signalling, SS7 Signalling, SMS A2P monetization and SMS Firewall protection and SMS A2P Traffic aggregation for customers across Asia Pacific.
  • The candidate is required to support the Mobility sales team in engaging on marketing and sales initiatives and projects as well as in prospecting customers and developing region-specific go-to-market plans.
  • The candidate will be required to travel to visit customers, attend the most relevant events and support sales efforts by providing sales guidance and technical support as needed.
  • The position requires active interaction and cooperation both within PCCW Global organizations at all levels and across all regions, as well as with our external customers, partners and industry bodies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Understand the Mobile Data space and support the Mobility sales team in identifying potential MNOs, MVNOs, IoT players that are interested in our portfolio of products.
  • Support the Mobility sales team in developing business relationships (or leveraging existing ones) with all customers to ensure we gain access to RFPs.
  • Support the Mobility sales team in negotiating the commercial terms of an agreement and closing sales while making sure to follow and comply with company process and policies.
  • For newly implemented customers, support the Mobility sales team to ensure all necessary documents are signed and customer related information is collected and correctly shared with the provisioning team.
  • Support the Mobility sales team when coordinating with the revenues assurance team and making sure that customers pay in time according to their current/expected run-rate.
  • Work closely with Mobility Presales and Product Teams to ensure our products are in line with Customer Expectations and market demand.
Qualifications & Skills
  • University Degree in Business, Economics or IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong sales Experience from working for MNOs, SMS aggregators or International Wholesale Carriers within wholesale, roaming or interconnect business.
  • Relevant experience from sales within the wholesale interconnect, IPX, A2P messaging.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in an international company.
