Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Manager to lead and scale our sales development team. This role is responsible for building, managing, and coaching a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who generate qualified opportunities for the sales organization. The Sales Development Manager will work closely with marketing, sales, and leadership to refine outbound and inbound strategies, optimize processes, and drive pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coaching
Hire, train, and develop a high-performing SDR team.
Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations.
Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Pipeline Generation
Oversee lead qualification, outbound prospecting, and inbound lead follow-up.
Ensure the team consistently meets targets for meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and pipeline contribution.
Process & Strategy
Design and implement scalable SDR workflows and playbooks.
Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
Partner with sales leadership to align on target accounts, messaging, and outreach strategy.
Data & Reporting
Monitor SDR performance metrics (calls, emails, meetings, conversions).
Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity and performance.
Use CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft) to drive efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with marketing to refine demand generation and campaign strategies.
Provide feedback to product and leadership based on customer and market insights.
