Firefly\xe2\x80\x99s secure, collaborative platforms save teachers time and reduce frustration, inspire and motivate students and engage parents in the learning experience ( ). Since January, Firefly has been part of Veracross, a leading provider of cloud-based School Information Systems (SIS/ MIS) designed to meet the unique needs of independent schools that partners with more than 1,500 primary and secondary schools around the world. Firefly and Veracross are investing to scale and acquiring new school customers is at the heart of this, therefore we are looking for an experienced sales leader to drive our go-to-market efforts in international schools. This new role presents an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on the success of the combined businesses. The role will suit an ambitious individual with passion for education to help schools engage their parents, support their students and reduce teacher workload. Based from our growing regional hub in Singapore, you will develop relationships with school groups, international schools and reseller partners to increase new business revenue across Asia, the Middle East and beyond.
The successful candidate will report to a Firefly cofounder (based UK), and will be a key member of the wider sales teams across the US, UK and Australia. The role is available to Singaporeans or Permanent Residents only.
Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for selling Firefly solutions, and potentially a wider portfolio over time, to international schools and groups of schools.
Comfortable with travel, you will engage schools remotely and in person to generate and close business across a diverse international market.
Focus across various functions, define and co-ordinate a focussed Go To Market (GTM) strategy to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
Follow up incoming leads and generate new business opportunities working with Sales Development, Marketing and through your own efforts and network.
Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of business to support continued expansion.
Provide accurate and timely forecasts to support planning and decision making.
Work with our existing and new partners to generate business and deliver compelling solutions that support the strategic needs of your customers.
Synthesise the needs of the market and present clear and compelling inputs to our product teams to inform future capabilities that continue to unlock the market for Firefly.
Represent Firefly and Veracross in the international schools market at events and conferences and be an ambassador within our the Education and EdTech markets.
Act as a senior member of the APAC team, supporting colleagues across other functions.
Skills:
Edtech sales experience in international schools
Proven record of outperforming sales targets
SaaS (Software as a Service) sales experience
Experience using CRM (ideally Salesforce)

Base salary SG$10k-SG$12kpm (dependent on experience) + uncapped incentive
