An exciting Sales Engineer (Sensors, Automation) job has become available at one of the leading industrial automation firms based in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Senior Sales Manager, this is a role for a sales professional who is passionate about the industrial automation and sensors industry. About the Sales Engineer (Sensors, Automation) Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers from various industries, whilst expanding the existing customer network. You should have willingness and tenacity to face to difficulties and indeterminacies, and an ability to drive results and achievements. Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and expand the customer network for industrial sensors, power supplies, cables, transducers, RFID, vision cameras and networks
  • Acquire new customers in the semicon, life science, automotive, F&B, metal working and packaging industries
  • Manage and grow key accounts
  • Responsible for customers, revenue and profit
  • Evaluate customer requests and propose appropriate solutions
  • Identify opportunities and work out solutions for the customer with the technical support team
  • Update customers with new products launch
  • Promote and Market products and solutions
  • Ensure existing customers satisfaction
A successful Sales Engineer (Sensors, Automation) must have a strong engineering background and B2B technical sales experience. You should also have vast experience and knowledge about the industrial automation sector. Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in electrical, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Controls or related fields
  • At least three years relevant experience
  • Good English (spoken and written)
  • Good spoken Chinese as this role works closely with the China team
  • Good product and application knowledge in industrial automation
  • Project management experience
  • Good communication/Negotiation skill
  • Customer orientated
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and result oriented
