Senior Sales Engineer - Machine Automation

As a Senior Sales Engineer for ABB\'s Machine Automation (B&R) business, you will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement and work together with the team to identify challenges and work on solutions to streamline for a leaner sales and engineering environment. Reporting to Country Managing Director of the division, who you will work closely with to identify the area of focus. You will be conducting visits to customers to establish relationships and identify further business opportunities where possible. The position is based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

• Managing sales and business relationships with customers in Singapore
• Attending to sales inquiries for non-key account customers Singapore
• Providing technical consultation to customer to achieve their intended project requirements
• Working with country managing director to stabilize and sustain Singapore portfolio
• Liaising with relevant application manager to find the optimal solution and product/hardware for the customers
• Providing updates to customers on the delivery schedule and delays
• Working with operation team members for delivery escalation

Your background

• Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years progressive experience in front end sales or direct sales and marketing experience
• Must work well under pressure, be able to juggle many projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to identify and meet customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and requirements
• Must be flexible and to prioritize
• Work rights in Singapore
