1. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and challenges.
Provide technical consultation to customers, offering solutions that align with their operational goals.
2. Sales Support:
Scout, develop and obtain leads with new customers to develop sales in your assigned territory.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Develop detailed quotes and proposals, addressing customer needs and specifying technical requirements.
3. Service Support:
Liaise with customers, end-users and purchasers to introduce the company's service capabilities.
Drive the sales of services to existing and new customers with equipment sold by the company.
Coordinate with the engineering and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Act as a point of contact for post-sales support, troubleshooting and sales of service.
4. Market and Product Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
Continuously enhance product knowledge and understand advancements in equipment and service offerings.
Share insights, feedback and customer requirements with the product development and marketing teams to drive innovation.
Participate in all company-participated trade shows and seminars in Singapore and abroad.
5. Training and Support:
Educate customers on equipment features, benefits, and maintenance requirements.
Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams to ensure proper usage and understanding of products.
Assist management with any other ad-hoc tasks and duties as and where required.
Qualification:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred or related technical field, Minimum Diploma in related technical field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales engineering role, preferably within the equipment sales and service industry.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of vacuum pump technology or other technical equipment. Proficiency in technical sales and solution design.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
Sales Skills:
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer needs.
