The sales engineer serves as a key link between the technical and sales teams, providing technical expertise and solutions to support the sales person.
The role involves understanding customer needs, presenting technical solutions and propose appropriate products or services. The sales engineer combines deep product/services knowledge with strong communication and problem-solving skill to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirement:
at least 2 years experience in materials equipment sales
good communication skill, self motivated and able to work independently
identify and understand customer requirements
provide feedback from customers to sales director and internal teams to assists in product development and sales strategy
work closely with sales director to develop sales strategy
maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions and forecast via internal reporting system
ensure customer satisfaction by resolving customer's issues promptly and effectively
attend trade shows, conferences and industry events to promote products and stay updated on market trends
Qualification and skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or chemical engineering
Proven experience in technical sales or related role
Strong understanding of technical aspects of products
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Willingness to travel overseas for client meeting
