Building and maintaining an international network of (potential) clients that generate leads that are commercially interesting
Developing the most promising leads into sales projects, helping the client to identify their needs and to translate these needs into a concept, together with your internal sales colleagues of the tender & concepts department
Creating and releasing commercial quotations for your sales projects in cooperation with all relevant departments
The design and implementation of key account plans
Designing and implementing actions to achieve maximum results from marketing activities such as trade fairs and events
Facilitating and cooperating with all stakeholders within the sales process
The newly hired will work directly under the Commercial Director of APAC, an opportunity to assist him with the projects

Independent and Business savvy
Technically oriented with a keen interest in mechanical engineering
Culturally sensitive to various Asian (and Western) cultures
Modest, very good socially in building relations, yet audacious
You have:
A relevant bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, preferably technical; (Mechanical Engineering Degree)
Proven experience in technical (consultative) sales preferably (minimum of 3 years in the technical / commercial / offshore or maritime industries
The ability to work independently, adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritise
The ambition to grow within our organization, and take on more responsibility as you go
No problem with travelling.
