Job Description


As Sales Engineer, you are responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining an international network of (potential) clients that generate leads that are commercially interesting
  • Developing the most promising leads into sales projects, helping the client to identify their needs and to translate these needs into a concept, together with your internal sales colleagues of the tender & concepts department
  • Creating and releasing commercial quotations for your sales projects in cooperation with all relevant departments
  • The design and implementation of key account plans
  • Designing and implementing actions to achieve maximum results from marketing activities such as trade fairs and events
  • Facilitating and cooperating with all stakeholders within the sales process
  • The newly hired will work directly under the Commercial Director of APAC, an opportunity to assist him with the projects

  • Independent and Business savvy
  • Technically oriented with a keen interest in mechanical engineering
  • Culturally sensitive to various Asian (and Western) cultures
  • Modest, very good socially in building relations, yet audacious
You have:
  • A relevant bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, preferably technical; (Mechanical Engineering Degree)
  • Proven experience in technical (consultative) sales preferably (minimum of 3 years in the technical / commercial / offshore or maritime industries
  • The ability to work independently, adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritise
  • The ambition to grow within our organization, and take on more responsibility as you go
  • No problem with travelling.
  • No problem working in the West
