We're looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to be the bridge between our cutting-edge technology and our clients' business needs. You'll partner with the Sales team to secure new business and expand existing accounts by demonstrating how Pixalate's data and analytics solutions solve critical problems in ad fraud, brand safety, and compliance. This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires a blend of deep technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
Key Research Areas & Responsibilities

Technical Sales & Demos:
Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations that clearly explain Pixalate's complex products--including our Analytics, Blocking, and Media Ratings Terminal solutions--to technical and non-technical audiences.
Solution Design:
Collaborate with the sales team and prospective clients to deeply understand their specific business challenges (e.g., maximizing ROI, meeting compliance requirements, reducing IVT) and design tailored solutions using Pixalate's platform.
Technical Consultation:
Act as the primary technical resource during the sales cycle, answering complex questions, addressing technical objections, and explaining product features, functionality, and integration methods (e.g., API, tagging, reporting).
Proof of Concepts (POCs) & Integrations:
Oversee the technical aspects of Proof of Concepts, working with client technical teams to ensure successful setup, integration, and validation of Pixalate's products in their environment.
Market Feedback:
Serve as the voice of the customer by gathering and analyzing client feedback and communicating critical technical needs and gaps to our Product and Engineering teams to influence the future roadmap.
Enablement & Support:
Develop training materials and conduct technical training for the internal sales team to ensure they are equipped with the latest product knowledge and competitive intelligence.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
2-3 years of experience in client-facing Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and/or Technical Sales roles at SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, advertisers, agencies, publishers, ad networks, or other digital advertising technology vendors.
Education:
BA/BS degree in a technical (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science), business, or other related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Ad Tech Ecosystem Knowledge:
Deep knowledge of the
ad tech
landscape, including the functions of key platforms such as
ad servers

DSPs
,
SSPs
, and
ad exchangers
, and how data flows through the programmatic ecosystem.
Channel Expertise:
Understanding of the differences and similarities among major digital advertising channels, specifically
display

mobile web

in-app mobile

OTT/CTV
.
Ad Fraud & Compliance:
Working knowledge of concepts like
Invalid Traffic (IVT)
and
viewability
in the context of digital advertising, and familiarity with MRC standards.
Technical Terminology:

ad operations

Drive & Accountability:
Demonstrable ability to take

Communication Skills:
