Our client, a well-established distributor of industrial machinery and tools, is seeking a
Sales Engineer
to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical sales, B2B client interaction, and working across sectors like construction, marine, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Handle sales of industrial equipment, including tools, compressors, welding machines, and other technical products.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions.
Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales deals.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular site visits and after-sales support.
Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure accurate delivery and installation.
Conduct product demonstrations or participate in trade shows when required.
Track sales activities and submit regular reports to the Sales Manager.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in industrial products, tools, or machinery.
Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Sales-driven and able to work independently.
Class 3 driving license preferred (site visits required).
Remuneration
Commission: Monthly sales incentive
