An exciting Sales Executive - Automotive job has become available at one of the automotive technology firms for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales Department, this is a role for a sales professional who is passionate about the automotive sector and has strong aftermarket sales experience. About the Sales Executive - Automotive Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for continuously developing and nurturing the customer relationship with major customers and identifying future key contacts in the Singapore aftermarket industry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan for the next five years for Singapore that includes sales and marketing for all commercial vehicles or passenger car products and services to support the overall strategy of aftermarket
  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities with the aim of reaching full market penetration through various sales channels by strengthening customer relationships
  • Develop and implement annual sales and marketing tactical plans for all products in line with overall aftermarket strategy to achieve financial growth targets and reach optimal market shares e.g. identify market potential and grow the business for the products and brands
  • Monitor KPIs and action plans of the sales operations, overseeing the sales activities in terms of turnover and profitability
  • Analyse customer requirements, forecasting and achieving planned sales revenue and profits. Take suitable actions in instances where and when deviations are occurring or are found.
  • Liaise with supply chain department for stock availability and delivery schedules
  • Work closely with finance department and oversees the collection of overdue accounts from customers
The successful Sales Engineer must have automotive and aftermarket background with strong sales experience. You should have willingness and tenacity to face to difficulties and indeterminacies, and possess strong sales acumen. Key Requirements:
  • Diploma or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in related fields
  • At least three years of experience in the automotive sector
  • Good English (spoken and written)
  • Good spoken Chinese as this role will be working closely with the China team
  • Class 3 driving licence, preferably with own car
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer-oriented
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and results-oriented
