Sales Executive, Japanese Speaking (west)

Job Description
Our client, a food trading company, is looking for a Japanese-speaking salesperson to join their team as part of expansion plans.
The core focus will be on managing existing clientele within the modern trade and food service/ HORECA channels.
Job description
- Responsible for managing clients within SG market
- Achieve the short and long range sales objectives, according to the Company's marketing strategy
- Coordinate sales activities and promotions internal and external stakeholders
- Visit customers and potential customers' facilities, providing them with information and support as required to secure and maintain business relationship
- Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with customers in the assigned territory to the objectives of maximum profitability
- Payment collection from assigned customers
- Gathering market information such as new products, trades and business trends
- Support to provide periodic reports which includes but not limited to, customer visit log, sales forecast, and market information
- Set up and maintain sales strategy
- Any other duties as assigned
Diploma/ degree qualification
Business proficiency in Japanese language in order to liaise with Japanese native clients
Relevant experience in B2B sales/ business development (*position title will commensurate with experience level)
Pro-active and resourceful * Good communication skills and able to work well in small teams
- Willing to commute to office in West area
- Driving license/ own vehicle will be advantageous (allowance provided)
