Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:
Identify product improvements on new products and monitor current trends in the industry with competitors and market activities.
Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and understand industry trends.
Responsible for developing new prospects, maintaining existing accounts in the Food Service Industry.
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, including retailers, distributors, and food service providers.
Account Management & Growth:
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections and manage receivables effectively.
Negotiate sales contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Reports & Analysis:
Compile market information (Example: market trend, competitors\' information) and analyze sales data to prepare detailed weekly progress reports.
Generate comprehensive monthly sales reports to inform management decisions.
Additional Responsibilities:
Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and optimal shelf life of perishable products.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Performs any other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager from time to time.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-3 years\' work experience in sales or marketing area, preferably in food sales/manufacturing industry.
Proven sales experience in the food industry, preferably with perishable goods.
Strong understanding of the perishable food market and distribution channels.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
