Real Estate Research and Analytics Sales Leader - APAC

Based out of the Singapore office - we are recruiting a Sales Director to play a key role in contributing to our clients growth across Asia-Pacific.

Our client is the leader in providing market intelligence, helping businesses to make better decisions.

Their research, data and expertise is trusted globally. As their services and product offerings have developed and matured (specifically to the APAC market), they are now in a strong position to appoint a Sales leader to build out their regional Real Estate Data and Research sales platform.

The Sales Director will be responsible for direct sales within the Asia-Pacific territory, which includes generating new business and increasing existing business. You will be a hunter by nature and enjoy making sales calls. You will be tasked with qualifying incoming leads, generating prospects via industry conference attendance / participation and targeted marketing campaigns and networking with senior decision makers.

Your target market will include

  • Property Investors & Owners;
  • Insurance Companies;
  • Asset Managers and Private Equity Funds;
  • Commercial and Investment Banks;
  • Lenders
  • Commercial Agency / Brokerage Firms;
  • Appraisers;
  • Developers and Operators;
Requirements

Suitable candidates will have:
  • 8 years+ experience selling research, data, analytics, information services;
  • Proven track record of breaking new business and meeting/exceeding revenue goals;
  • Experience selling a solution into the commercial real estate industry is a plus;
  • Strong strategic selling and closing skills with the ability to develop trusted client relationships
  • Experience with recurring subscription based revenue model is a plus
  • Experience tailoring and hosting remote software and product demos to prospects
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills;
  • Polished presentation skills;
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills;
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy, sense of humour;
  • Strong self management essential
  • Willingness to travel;
