Driven and passionate about rapid expansion in the US, EMEA APAC and LAC markets, our suite of products provides merchants with an end-to-end automated fraud solution for card-not-present (CNP) purchases, identify theft, online scams and policy abuses, merchandise returns and exchanges as well as chargeback management and other data management challenges. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager of APAC, your primary responsibilities will include purposeful and well-thought-out strategies to identify, qualify and close sales opportunities for the business across Asian markets, principally Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and India. You will be passionate learning about customer problems and demonstrating curiosity to build knowledge and rapport before promoting a solution. Operating across a complex market environment in Asia, you will love working in a growth industry that provides businesses with a harmonious payment experience whilst protecting consumers and merchants from online payment and identity fraud. This is truly an exciting opportunity to lead the sales function for Accertify whilst playing a pivotal role in the growth of our business in the APAC region. Responsibilities Identifying and closing opportunities with prospective merchants to generate new Online Fraud, Identity and Chargeback Management revenues in a balanced and profitable manner. Developing and executing a sales strategy that targets Asia based merchants with large transactional volumes and a strong online presence. Demonstrating the value of Accertify fraud solutions into a wide variety of partners involved in the buying process (C-Suite, VP Information Systems, Director Fraud Detection). Owning the end-to-end sales cycle using a collaborative and consultative approach that seeks to fully identify customer problems before applying a well thought out and compelling solution. Playing an active role at an industry level whether that be at external events or conferences, speaking engagements or working with associated bodies or organisations to advance awareness and understanding of developments in the payments and fraud space. Minimum Qualifications: Required Qualifications Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies across ASEAN markets. The ability to assess for opportunity and risk across a multi-geographic environment before making critical go-to-market decisions will be key to success in this role. Experience looking after sophisticated and complex client structures that require consultative sales and solutions-oriented skills with an emphasis on demonstrating return on investment and other compelling financial, operational and customer benefits for clients. High level sales or executive presentation skills with ability to gain credibility and trust with variety of collaborators and influencers within the client organisation. Ability to demonstrate and navigate key relationships held by multiple parties across American Express and Accertify both within and beyond the APAC region. The ability to think beyond classical selling parameters to build innovative solutions and 'win- win' scenarios in securing new customers. Agility to learn from mistakes whilst remaining committed to finding solutions despite difficulties and uncertainty. Whilst experience in online payments or identity fraud is not vital, an understanding of this area and/or the payments space in Asia would be a distinct advantage.
