SingaporeThis position is a perfect opportunity for someone with sales in their DNA, who can build customer relationships, develop strategic accounts, act as an entrepreneur and close a win/win deal.Your key responsibilities will include:In this position, your challenge is to further establish Vanderlandes position as a market leader in a very competitive market. You will be working for the worlds leading Airports and Parcel clients, helping them to further improve on their business. Your geographical responsibility will include Southeast Asia and possibly other countries in the region.As a Sales Manager, you define a strategy to conduct and execute market development actions to create business opportunities and gain new projects. These actions are based on the segment strategy and account plans that you develop together with the team. You nurture leads, gather the relevant information on the technical aspects and the bidding process. Together with your sales colleagues, you are responsible for making and executing the sales strategies and plans, understanding the customers business, processes and values, anticipating on this, and with the aim to prepare a spot-on proposition which exceeds customers expectations. You influence the decision-making processes and build and maintain strong senior management relationships with the relevant Decision-Making Unit (DMU)s of our existing and potential customers. As Sales Manager you lead the sales team during the complete sales cycle, from negotiating terms and conditions to a winning proposal, creating and selling value rather than price.Your qualifications and skillsYou exceed your discipline, and by doing so, come up with innovative and creative solutions which bring our customers forward. You know how to work together with your internal and external contacts to create the best sales team for each sales project. Ideally, you also have;

• Bachelor in Engineering related degree;
• More than 10 years of commercial working experience; preferably with high value engineered solutions.
• Working experience in relevant industry segment (Airports & parcel or baggage handling system) is an advantage.
• Senior, business acumen and a strong sale spirit.
• Experience in handling mid to large sized business deals.
• Strong communicational skills, you have a creative and efficient approach to building professional client relationships.
• High analytical ability, natural negotiator.
• Willingness to travel within short notice.
• Ability to work within an international work environment and amongst different cultures.
