Job Description
You will be joining a leading Freight Forwarding company who is a One-Stop Logistics Solutions Provider with its headquarter based in Singapore. They provide Supply Chain and Logistics Solutions for the Mining, Oil & Gas, Heavy Machinery and Construction Industries in APAC.
They are currently looking for a qualified Sales Manager to manage and develop sales activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop business plans and sales strategies that ensures attainment of company sales targets and profitability
- Responsible for hunting of new customers and growth areas, acquire new business opportunities and accounts.
- Manage new and existing customers to deliver a high level of satisfaction
- Ensure the complete and timely delivery of freight by attaining knowledge from clients to meet their needs and evaluate shipping instructions, Key Performance Indicators and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Preparation and submission of proposals to customers
- Serve as the escalation point for unresolved transport issues, objections and claims
- Min. 3 years in Sales / Business Development / Account Management experiences across freight forwarding / shipping / logistics / supply chain industries.
- Strong knowledge in land, sea, and air freight for hazardous, non-hazardous, simple and complex cargo shipments.
- Results-oriented with demonstrable track record of over-achieving sales target.
- Good presentation and communication skill
