What You'll Do:



Achieve Sales Targets:

Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales goals for the assigned territory.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, grow accounts, and identify opportunities to develop new customer bases and applications.

Opportunity Generation:

Identify and generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory, focusing on both existing and potential customers.

Sales Activities:

Actively expand customer networks through regular face-to-face meetings and phone calls to drive sales.

Proposal and Contract Management:

Prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to secure new orders.

Reporting and Analysis:

Provide weekly updates on sales activities, including call plans, sales forecasts, and market analysis (competitor activity, opportunities, trends).

Technical Communication:

Effectively communicate technical requirements related to solutions, installation, operation, and maintenance with customers and internal teams.

System Maintenance and Compliance:

Regularly update the CRM system, adhere to internal quality and safety standards, and promote safe working practices.

Financial and Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Assist in managing account balances, collaborate with clients and other internal departments for a seamless service delivery.

Troubleshooting and Safety:

Provide support on-site for troubleshooting installations and remain committed to health, safety, and environmental policies.

Skills and Experience:



Relevant Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in sales or project management within shipyard O&G newbuild construction or conversion projects, with a focus on the local market.

Sales Expertise:

Proven experience selling or renting power generation and industrial HVAC equipment.

Industry Focus:

Direct sales experience within the shipyard and oil & gas sectors.

Local Market Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of the local market is essential.

Technical Background:

An advanced diploma or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.

Sales Track Record:

5-7 years of experience in a sales-related role, ideally within the Marine/Shipping industry.

Interpersonal and Communication Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Negotiation & Deal Closure:

Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals and uncover new business opportunities.

Proactive & Accountable:

A results-driven approach, with high accountability and follow-through.

Customer-Centric & Collaborative:

Strong customer orientation, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.

Decision-Making & Resilience:

Ability to make sound decisions and remain resilient under pressure. *

Industry Knowledge:

Exposure to or experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in the Thailand, Malaysia, and Brunei regions, is a plus.
