Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager, preference experience in automation and laser technical skills to lead and execute laser-based projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong blend of sales acumen, project management skills, and technical knowledge, requires frequent travel to India, fluency in Hindi, and the ability to manage and mentor a team of Indian Sales Engineers.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing.

Technical Expertise:

Provide frontline support, problem solving with factory backend support Possess a strong understanding of laser technology, applications, and industry trends. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams. Collaborate with laser engineers to develop innovative solutions. Evaluate and select appropriate laser systems and components for project requirements. Manage project risks and issues and implement corrective actions as needed

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Understand customer needs and translate them into project requirements. Manage customer expectations and ensure project deliverables meet their satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.

Requirements:-

Bachelor's degree in engineering/ mechanical, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales / project management, preferably in the laser industry. Proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong technical knowledge of laser systems and applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to travel to India or domestic to customer site (50% of time) Fluency in Hindi would be a plus * PMP certification would be a plus
