As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sales of products and services for SG, MY, ID, PH PAPI market in accordance with strategy. Reporting to Sales Manager, you will be building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identifying and developing sales opportunities. This position is based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

  • Selling products and service to customers, focusing on volume and profitability targets for Process industries
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)
  • Identifying and driving spare parts sales in new market opportunities in the designated market
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection when needed
  • Preparing offers in coordination with the sales manager. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions
Your background
  • Diploma or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, Engineering is preferred
  • Around 1 to 2 years of experience in service sales is ideal but we welcome driven and highly motivated fresh graduates to apply as well
  • Confident and able present him/herself well in front of customers
  • Knowledge of ABB products and solutions is an advantage
  • Should be competent in Excel and detail oriented
  • Willing to work independently and as a team player
  • Strong interpersonal and customer focused mindset. Strong communications and influencing skills
