Job Description

1. Collects samples on designated areas assigned based on standard operating procedures and standard methods on sampling
2. Performs basic field analyses to ensure representative samples through use of electronic or mechanical instruments, such as temperature recorders and pH probes
3. Makes evaluative field judgments to determine whether samples represent the quality of the source being sampled
4. Makes field judgments regarding potential trouble sites in the sampling system
5. Enacts first-lines measures for maintenance of sample on sites
6. Drives to and from sampling sites and laboratory while maintaining utmost integrity of samples
7. Accurately completes the necessary records such as chain of custody forms and/or field sampling logs
8. Communicates the purpose of sampling work to customers and secures sampling locations while ensures safety at all times during field works
9. Receives instructions from the Sales Team for its destination plan and sampling schedule
10. Reviews sample documentation, including sample chain of custody forms and job order forms to ensure sampling requirements have been followed
11. Requests job order and chain custody forms and other necessary paraphernalia from Technical Services Coordinator or Sample Coordinator for all scheduled activities
12. Adjusts and revises sampling schedules, within deadline requirements as required by customers
13. Ensures that sample bottles and other required materials for sampling are available as per scheduled sampling
14. Delivers test results and collect payments to and from designated areas in coordination with the Credit and Collection Officer
15. Responds to requests queries from customers regarding sampling schedules and test reports releases
16. Responsible in the identification, documentation and control of nonconforming works including technical and administrative nonconformance related to testing (i.e. equipment breakdown, customer complaints, etc.)
17. Receives and signs job order and chain of custody records as front liners in checking sample conditions upon arrival at the laboratory
18. Canvasses and negotiates new sampling equipment and supplies necessary and applicable in the different testing
19. Initiates the request for revisions and generation of documents based on requirements of standard methods and other sources
20. Responsible in the identification, documentation and control of nonconforming works including technical and administrative nonconformance related to testing (i.e. equipment breakdown, customer complaints, etc.)
21. Handles, investigates and controls complaints whenever a related issue arises in coordination with the QA Manager
22. Identifies, assesses and evaluates risks and opportunities as process owner
23. Maintains and updates risk registries to assess effectiveness of action plans
24. Updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities
25. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
26. Monitors sample condition upon transit to laboratory
27. Reports daily collection summary of paid testing services
28. Establishes priorities for the completion of work in accordance with sound time-management methodology
29. Distributes Customer Satisfaction Survey forms and gathers feedbacks from customers for the attainment of quality objectives
30. Reports to the Sales Team
