Responsibilities

Good knowledge and skillset in the following platforms and applications: SAP Systems installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, administration, and monitoring (SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, SAP ECC). Databases: SAP HANA, Sybase ASE, SAP IQ. Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux. Microsoft Applications: Active Directory, System Center Suite. Management Tools: SCCM, WSUS, SEPM, SCVMM. Virtualization Platforms: VMware, Hyper-V. Storage and Backup: Symantec NetBackup. Web Tools: F5 Load Balancer, Proxy/Reverse Proxy Setup, Apache, IIS, SAP Web Dispatcher. IT Security Hardening on Windows Server and Linux. SAP system cloning/copy methodologies (Heterogeneous / Homogeneous). SAP backup and restore procedures (database-specific and OS-specific). Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, producing high-quality deliverables and support with minimum supervision. Strong planning, communication, and coordination skills. Good team player: responsible, conscientious, responsive, and proactive.

Required Working Experience for Basis Support

Minimum 2 years of working experience as SAP Basis. Minimum 2 years in IT infrastructure, systems implementation, and support. Experience with client copies, system cloning/copy (Heterogeneous/Homogeneous), transport management, user account management, patch management, and backup/restore of SAP systems (preferred). Experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of core SAP platforms (preferred). Experience in administration of Microsoft Technologies (preferred). Experience in administration of Linux (preferred).
