SAP FICO IT Support Analyst - Your future position?

Location: Marsiling Industrial Estate, Singapore

Reporting to: Finance & Controlling Product Line Manager

As SAP FICO Support Analyst, you will provide technical support and maintenance for SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules. Your role will involve resolving issues, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the seamless operation of the product (SAP FICO).

Core Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Participate to new IT Service for the technical aspects of the Givaudan FICO product and stay up to date with the latest product features, updates and technical specifications
  • Resolve incidents by analyzing issues reported by users, identify root cause and provide solutions or work arounds
  • Contribute to recurring and complex problem analysis and resolution by collaborating with cross product / technical teams
  • Identify cases requiring higher level expertise and escalate them to senior support analysts or other product team members
  • Log and track in Service now reported issues and resolution related activities
  • Follow up with the product team on bug fixes delivery
  • Provide feedback to product team on users pain points and issues to improvements, testing, deployment and stabilization
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including user guides, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles
  • Support new support analyst training in product features, troubleshooting procedure and user support practice
Stakeholder & User Request Management
  • Clarify tickets logged with requesters and communicate about resolution progress
  • Ensure satisfactory customer service and prompt response times to the requesters based on service level objectives
  • Communicate with user community to provide the status of open problems and the changes associated with new solutions
  • Escalate issues or outages to management
Information Security
  • Ensure security rules implementation observing the policies

Core Qualifications
  • Required university degree in IT related degree
  • Must have SAP Finance Module (FI-CO) knowledge (namely General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting)
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools
  • At least 2 years of Application Support experience
  • Agile methodology and project delivery experience or interest would be an added advantage (as the role may evolve towards product management)
  • Experience with S/4HANA will be an added advantage
