Business DivisionsGroup FunctionsYour roleAre you an SME when it comes to Apache/Tomcat, Cloud (Azure) or tools like App Dynamics, Splunk? Do you have a track record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partners? Do you have proven ability to solve complex issues, covering both technical and business needs?We\'re looking for L2 Support Analyst (SME) to:

  • Be responsible for stakeholder management with local business and operations team.
  • fundamental IT skills across Unix, WebSphere/Tomcat/Apache, Shell/Perl scripting, App Dynamics, Splunk/ Automation Anywhere, MQ or EMS
  • define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
  • plan and execute BCM for applications, rollout new releases (including OS patching, certificate renewals)
  • strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (i.e. you know how to figure problems out)
  • Ensure production stability and availability for key operational business processes.
  • A natural ability to solve complex issues (covering both technical and business areas)
  • manage the full spectrum of Production Support responsibilities, based on the ITIL Framework: Incident and Problem Management, Change and Release Management, Risk Management

Our team provides application & infrastructure technical support to ensure end-to-end production stability and availability by combining optimized utility services with dedicated centers of expertise, always aiming to foster on customer / user needs. We are aligned to UBS WMPC business and IT application service line where the approach is based on the trusted relationship of our financial advisers and their clients.Your expertise
  • Bachelor degree in computer related discipline
  • 5-10 years of Level2 Production support experience in a global environment
  • hands-on experience of WebSphere, Linux, Cloud (Azure) and automation tools - AppDynamics, Splunk/Selenium, Jenkins
  • highly committed, resilient and have a strong focus on ownership of issues and commitment to resolving them, managing stakeholder communication, raising incident channel, technical investigation (analysis, identification of technical component having issue) and following escalation matrix.
  • able to drive service improvements ( setup telemetry for early detection of incidents and faster recovery, automation of repetitive/manual tasks)
