Role: Procurement/ Merchandising ExecutiveAbout the role: The Big Picture:We're looking for a Procurement/Merchandising Exec who enjoys hunting down the best deals and products for our social sellers. You are expected to source for and guide merchants through the SCX platform journey and empower them to leverage social commerce to sell and connect with new communities. You will work with a dynamic team to run product campaigns on a weekly basis, and introduce new products and trends to the social commerce market.Skills needed:The role is quite varied in terms of skill sets, ranging from business development, negotiation and trend analysis, to administrative detail and project management at different parts of the user journey. Brief in Detail: You will take part in Merchant Sourcing and Deal Making:

• Onboarding Merchants successfully onto SCX
• Source for deals with merchants and distributors
• Interact and educate merchants about social commerce
• Work with merchants to strategise and leverage social commerce as a sustainable revenue stream
• Advise merchants on product strategy when selling through social commerce
• Actively work with merchants to share feedback and work towards a product campaign on SCX

And also Product Improvement

• Curate and submit merchant feedback to the development team
• Conduct occasional interviews with merchants to discover and improve user experience
• Be the champion for merchants within the development team
• Uncover new merchant flows and pain points (bonus!)

About the company: Social Commerce Exchange (SCX) is a B2B business matching platform that connects merchants to social sellers and leverages the power of social selling. We're a small yet strong team of three founders who are looking for more hands-on deck for a fast-moving ship that's due to set sail soon.We're currently running multiple campaigns involving over 20 merchants and 200 sellers. While being busy is good, being too busy is not good for anyone.
