Purpose & Scope The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) and hardware solutions for our Solar PV monitoring system in Sembcorp Sola Purpose & Scope The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) and hardware solutions for our Solar PV monitoring system in Sembcorp Solar. The successful candidate will drive the coordination of project planning and execution of Solar PV monitoring solutions and align on the strategy of Sembcorp's transformation from a 'brown to green' energy player. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1) Responsible for development and maintenance of Ignition SCADA systems while implementing solutions on integrating Ignition with IoT devices on field 2) Collaborate with Sembcorp in-house data scientists to deliver solutions to business problems 3) Work with operational teams to design and ingress data from Sembcorp Solar sites into Sembcorp Ignition server 4) Develop dashboard, devices management on Ignition and alarm monitoring 5) Communicate with various customer and support on their request on customized dashboard 6) Assist operational team members to troubleshoot communications, application issues to Sembcorp Ignition server and its related data Qualifications & Experience 1) Fundamental knowledge of SCADA, control protocols and network protocols 2) Proficiency in Ignition and API development 3) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or any related discipline Skills/Competencies & Preferred Characteristics 1) Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and other departments 2) Proactive, positive and self-motivated with ability to work without close supervision 3) Knowledge of Azure cloud is a benefit 4) Working knowledge on OT systems is advantageous 5) Well versed in network infrastructure, software, hardware systems, IT operations, data storage system migration, project management is advantageous
